Assistance to Victims

IOM Azerbaijan keenly provides assistance on ad-hoc basis to the victims of trafficking returning to, through and from Azerbaijan by helping them upon requests of IOM sending missions or governmental, NGO and other partners. Assistance packages include protection, return and reception/referral upon arrival, reintegration assistance (shelter, legal counseling, medical, vocational training, courses, assessment of reintegration needs and counseling regarding small business, etc.) as required. IOM closely works with IOM missions abroad, Consular sections of the Embassies, the Government of Azerbaijan, local NGOs working on CT issues and NGOs abroad.
